Employee Assistance Program

McCarthy Psychology Centre is a boutique provider of Employee Assistance Program (EAP)  services to the aged care and disability services sectors.

We provide a fee for service model of EAP support so that you pay only for what you use, unlike many larger providers who charge an upfront retainer as well as charge per use. Most employers provide for up to four sessions per annum per employee for self or family use.

We use only registered psychologists, most of whom are clinical psychologists.

How does it work?

Once employers have a contract in place, they advertise the service to their employees. When employees need psychological support they phone the number below and tell us they want to see a psychologist.

We contact the psychologist close to where they live or work and the psychologist makes a call to the employee to arrange a session time and date. The psychologist sends us an invoice and we invoice the employer.

However, during this time of COVID-19, all psychological support is offered via video or phone contact. Employees should phone the number below to arrange a time for them to talk with a psychologist via video or phone.

Confidentiality

No information about individual identities is passed to the employer.
